Welcome to my puppy story.

In the beginning, this site shared my experience – the good, the bad and the mud-stained – as my husband, Christopher, and I welcomed an adorable black Labrador retriever named Sadie into our home last summer. I hoped the blog would serve as scrapbook for me and Christopher and perhaps even provide useful insight (or at least some humor) for other first-time puppy owners.

Now, as life with a pup has mellowed and become more routine, I typically comment on life as young, pseudo-newlywed, navigating work and play in the city of Boston. Sadie is a huge part of this life, and I typically try to involve her in my posts, but I am considering broadening the scope of this blog and moving it to a new site.  As you can tell, I haven’t quite gotten there yet so please stay tuned!
